Policies

Reservations and Payments: Prices will be guaranteed when your reservations have been paid in full. We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we receive your payment. Once you have received travel documents, please make sure that all details are in order. Please inform us immediately if you see mistakes to your itinerary.

Forms of Payments: We accept wire transfers, bank certified checks, major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), and PayPal as forms of payments. Payments made on time assures us to hold your reservation. Please do not risk cancellation by making partial payment.

Booking Changes or Cancellations: To give our clients better deal, we work in partnership with car rentals companies, hotels, lodges etc. It is your responsibility to check with those companies about their cancellation polices. As for Walitsani tours and Travel, cancellations may be made up to 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date after payment is received and a reservation confirmation is made. All payments are returned except 10% of the total cost per person to cover the cost of bank charges. When cancellations are made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date additional penalties may apply. No refunds are available when you cancel the trip on the scheduled day of departure. However, in the case of unexpected events, management will assess the situation and decide upon a course of action. No changes to trip itineraries may be made after the trip is booked, as tickets, transportation, and lodging arrangements have already been reserved for you.

Visa/ Special Permits: You are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas and travel permits. However, we are now offering assistance with filing visa applications for our clients.

Insurance: Walitsani Tours and Travel does not compensate our guests for any unforeseen expenses such as and not limited to lost baggage, loss of health, accidents, death, etc. It is strongly advised you purchase a travel insurance policy. We may help you to find an insurance company. In an event that the client does not want to purchase insurance, he/she assumes sole financial liability for all direct and indirect consequences of events occurring before or during the trip.
